Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 2026
Your privacy is critical to us. This policy explains how Email Snipper ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and deletes your data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our service:
- Account Information: If you sign up via Google, we collect your email address and full name. We do not store your password (passwords generated for Google accounts are random and hashed).
- Usage Data: We log IP addresses and campaign activity (e.g., number of slices, compression settings) to prevent abuse and improve performance.
- Uploaded Content: We temporarily store the images you upload ("Source Images") to process your requests.
- Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Polar Software, Inc. (our Merchant of Record). We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. Polar may share your email address, subscription status, and customer ID with us to manage your account access.
2. Image Retention Policy (7-Day Auto-Deletion)
We implement a strict data retention policy for your design assets:
- Source Images: Images uploaded for processing are stored securely on our servers.
- Auto-Deletion: An automated system permanently deletes all campaign images and associated generated files 7 days after they are last edited.
- Manual Deletion: You may manually delete any campaign from your history dashboard at any time, which immediately removes the files from our server.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information strictly to:
- Provide the image slicing and compression service.
- Maintain your history of recent campaigns (for up to 7 days).
- Monitor system performance and prevent rate-limit abuse.
- Track your subscription status and enforce plan usage limits.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party providers:
- Google OAuth: Used for secure authentication.
- Hostinger: Our hosting provider where data is physically stored.
- Polar (Merchant of Record): Processes all subscription payments, handles billing, and manages tax compliance. Their privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.
5. Contact Us
